Meet the Counselors

Stephanie A. McElveen, LCSW is a 2023 Top 40 under 40 honoree as hosted by the Jacksonville Business Journal. She is the owner of Lifestyle Management Counseling and a board certified Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the states of Florida and Georgia. Her academic studies at Florida State University in addition to years of post-graduate training have propelled her expertise to be unparalleled within the mental health community. In addition to being named as a subject matter expert for Action News JAX as well as having been selected as one of the Top 40 under 40 professionals in the city of Jacksonville, she has also been recognized as one of the Top 10 Counselors.

Mrs. McElveen is a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. and when not in the office you can catch Stephanie amplifying the voices of women as the Founder and Creative behind Women at Werk, a co-working space for women who are starting their own business or working on their startup.

Lyndsi Wilgenbusch recently relocated to Jacksonville from a small town in Epworth, Iowa to pursue her master’s in Clinical Mental Health at Jacksonville University. Jacksonville is a place Lyndsi now calls home and she is learning to love the city increasingly each day. Lyndsi played college volleyball and enjoyed learning about the mental aspect of the game. College volleyball is when she saw her first mental health therapist and quickly fell in love with the field. Throughout Lyndsi’s childhood, her father was a volunteer firefighter, which sparked her interest and passion to pursue a career as a helping professional. She is an extremely goal-oriented individual which has led her to gravitate toward a solution-focused model when working with clients. One of her many passions in the field is helping athletes to navigate the difficult challenges, adjustments, and obstacles on and off the field. Furthermore, Lyndsi enjoys being a safe space for children who need it most. Lyndsi’s goal is to help everyone become the best version of themselves as she believes everyone deserves to not just get through life but to experience a fulfilling one.
