Q. What kind of services are offered?
A. Lifestyle Management Counseling Center's (LMCC) counseling services are available by phone, face-to-face, or video conferencing methods. LMCC offers individual, marital/couple, and family counseling services.

Q. Is counseling Confidential?
A. Counseling sessions are confidential and State and local laws protect the content. All personal information collected in association with the web site will only be used for the purpose of providing for the client a safe, therapeutic experience and it will never be distributed or sold to anyone outside of LMCC. Exceptions include suspected incidents of child abuse and neglect, safety, domestic violence, National Security, spouse abuse, homicide, and suicide.

Q. What are the credentials of the Counselor?
A. Stephanie A. Jones, LCSW is a Master’s level counselor. She is credentialed by state licensing bodies in both Florida and Georgia. All license verifications may be performed through either the Georgia Secretary of State or the Florida Department of Health.

Q. Who is eligible for services?
A. Any person who resides within the states of Florida or Georgia in which the counselor holds state licensure.

Q. What will a typical appointment be like?
A. During your first appointment for counseling I will need a summary of the problems or questions that have brought you to counseling in order to work with you to establish goals and an appropriate treatment plan to better measure progress.

Q. Is my information safe?
A. Different kinds of technologies come with different risks. LMCC uses the following strategies to protect your information. Clients will register for a digital profile that is password protected. Digitized new patient forms will be completed as an administrative on boarding procedure. Upon completion this document is housed into a wireless third party vendor electronic record keeping system (www.SimplePractice.com). No hard copies are kept to protect your Personally Identifiable Information (PII). Profile access to this vendor can be gained by visiting their website.

Q. How can I schedule an appointment?
A. Appointments can be scheduled by calling (904) 902-2454. If unavailable, please leave a brief, but detailed message and you will receive a return call within 24 hours.

Q. Can I text/email the counselor?
A. Electronic communications are acceptable, but for professional purposes only! Email/text reminders of appointments are acceptable means of contact, however written permission for alternative means of communication are REQUIRED as these means are legally discoverable in court. Additionally, these means are not secure as I cannot guarantee the recipient. Your safety and security are important to me!

Q. How long are scheduled appointments?
A. In general, appointments last 50-60 minutes. Some may be longer or shorter, depending upon circumstances. If you are unable to keep an appointment, it is imperative that you call to cancel/reschedule at least 24 hours prior to your appointment. Failure to do this may result in termination of counseling or assessed fees.

Q. What are the fees?
LMCC services are provided at a cost of $145 per session for individuals and $175 for couples. Concessions can be made available on a case by case basis. All major credit cards (Visa, Discover, MasterCard, American Express) are accepted.  Billing through your primary and/or secondary insurance carrier is suggested first.

Q. What are the hours of operation?

Your patience is appreciated as we finalize the hiring of reception services to capture these occurrences. In the event of this taking place please leave a message and your rendering provider will respond upon immediately availability.

Q. How do I make a referral?
A. Referrals can be made by calling the office directly or through email at admin@womentawerk.com.

Q. What if I’m not satisfied?
A. Transitioning out of therapy or to another type of service is part of the goal. As you or your child progress with their treatment goals, a review will be done periodically to determine the need to continue services. I will discuss appropriate community options if you wish to pursue them when you or your child leaves LMCC services. Termination is available at any time.
